Registration is open for IN-BOUNDARY players from June 1st - July 31st

Registration for NON-RESIDENT/IMPORT Players will open on August 1st (See below for additional information)

Registrations received after July 31st will incur a $200 late fee.

BVMHA boundaries include Rimbey, Bentley and Eckville. They border Lacombe, Ponoka, Rocky Mountain House, and Winfield.
West Central Wildcats Female Hockey League boundaries include Sylvan Lake, Caroline, Spruce View, Winfield & Rocky Mountain House. We also accept resident players from Blackfalds and Lacombe if they don't have a female team in their age group or are existing Wildcats

While BVMHA operates programs for residents within our boundaries, there are conditions for which BVMHA Policies and Procedures allow the registration of non-residents. They are as follows:
- BVMHA has specific geographical boundaries (Refer to Article 7.2) with our neighbouring minor hockey associations as required by Hockey Alberta.Players residing within our boundaries. Non-resident players, or imports, are defined as players residing outside of our specific boundaries, exceptions made as per HA player movement form.
- When there is a working relationship between BVMHA and neighbouring associations to share facilities, we will accept non-resident players if the neighbouring association does not have sufficient players, or has too many players for one team, as mandated by Hockey Alberta, at that specific level. That player will carry the non-resident status.
- Imports will be reviewed by the board at all levels

Please familiarize yourself with the following important information prior to registering:

U11-U18: Teams will be capped at 18 skaters and 2 goalies; additional registrants may be waitlisted until there are enough players to form another team.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON RESPECT IN SPORT (RIS):

The Respect in Sport (RIS) course has been replaced by Hockey Canada’s new program, The Shift Forward, for both parents and coaches.

Any valid RIS certificates will remain valid until their expiration date.

Please check the validity of your RIS Parent Certificate. If it is expired, you will need to take The Shift Forward course.

Make sure to find your RIS expiration date!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARENT/GUARDIANS:

By signing, you and your child agree to abide by all Rules and Regulations of Blindman Valley Minor Hockey Association and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

I acknowledge that participation in sports activities involves the risk of personal injury. In consideration of participating in the Blindman Valley Minor Hockey season, I accept that risk regardless of the nature of the injury. I agree and understand that the Blindman Valley Minor Hockey Association, its officers, employees, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss of property or damage as a result of my participation in sports activities during the hockey season.

Regular Registration increases by $200 for U11-U18 packages as of August 1.

I am aware that all fees are due by September 15th. If your player has indicated in the registration that he/she is trying out elsewhere, your payment will be due on the date your player returns to Blindman Valley. Payments can be made:

by etransfer to financelead@blindmanvalleymha.com. ALL E-transfers MUST include the child's name and the division in the notes section. E-transfers will be autodeposited.

by credit card in the registration system. All transactions are subject to a 3% credit card transaction fee. (THE ADMINISTRATION FEE ONLY APPLIES TO CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS). Note: the transaction fee ONLY applies to credit card payments.

Note: The insurance portion, if you choose it, must be paid by credit card at registration.

BVMHA will not provide refunds (as indicated in the Handbook in section 7.7). Participants who want the option of a refund can purchase third-party insurance through Vertical Insure during registration. THE INSURANCE PORTION MUST BE PAID BY CREDIT CARD, AS IT GOES DIRECTLY TO VERTICAL INSURE. Please see their policy for further information. https://vicoverage.com/sports-refund-protection/

In the event that registration numbers exceed capacity, teams may be capped, restructured, or cuts may be necessary. Any impacted age groups will be contacted accordingly during the registration period.
